We looked the inn up on the chamber of commerce web site, called Evin to make reservation for 2 nights, she explained our questions and gave us ideas of what to do while there.
When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with out room ( very clean and well maintained ) and the overall accommodations. Evin has a great sitting room loaded with local info. and history of her 2 buildings. Evin suggested things to see and where to eat very helpful). Had it been warmer we would have enjoyed sitting in the yard adjacent to the on site parking, nice tables and chairs.
Her breakfast both days were not only eye appealing but very tasty and filling.
Looking forward to returning, wouldn't stay any where else. Gary and Marlene

We stayed in Holland Inn for 3 nights in September 2012. The rooms are really nice, and the location is good as well (about 5 minutes walk to Main Street, with a lot of restaurants and shops). The next entrance to stunningly beautiful Acadia national park is only a 5 minute drive away.
The best thing about Holland Inn is Evin the Innkeeper. She was really helpful, gave us great tips for hiking in the park, and served a superb (and totally different) breakfast every morning.
A highly recommended stay!

You have found THE place to stay in Bar Harbor! You will not find a better breakfast any where in Bar Harbor. The staff could not be more gracious or friendly. At this place you get MORE than you pay for.....don't hesitate to book!

We stayed in the beech cliff room and it was great, very spacious and super clean! This was my first B&B experience and it was beyond what I expected. The breakfast was great and the hostess is very friendly and willing to help you make the most of your trip. Not a far walk from the center of town at all either,,,I would definitely stay here again.
