Stayed in the motel portion for 7 nights. Was very happy with the location, the price value, and the cleanliness. Very comfortable accommodations, and enjoyed our small sitting area outside our room. Very nice grassy area with comfy chairs in front to enjoy an evening chat. We looked at other hotels while in town, and frankly I would stay here again if we shhould ever come back to the area.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay (M-Th) last week. Comfortable bed, relaxing environment, clean room and the innkeepers were very helpful when we asked for a few suggestions. We stayed in the Motel part of the inn. Slightly off the beaten path of the main drag of Bar Harbor, which meant it was a peaceful location but very easily accessible by walking to the shore or shopping/dining.

I cannot say enough good things about the Moseley Cottage Inn! I stayed in the Cadillac Room on the 3rd floor, and its small size was perfect for a solo traveler like me. The baked goods made by Mary and the breakfasts made by Scott were absolutely delicious, and Darlene, the housekeeper, kept my room spotless. (Not a speck of dust anywhere.) Scott and Pam (the owners) are warm, friendly, and full of tips and recommendations for Bar Harbor. The Moseley Cottage Inn certainly deserves the awards it has received!

we also stayed in the motel for 3 nights with our 2 teens. They enjoyed the free wifi. We liked the closeness to breakfast places, restaurants, shopping and the bus to the acadia park. If you bring bikes you can just bike into the centre of town in 2 minutes to get the shuttle into the park. Also, in July there is not a lot of parking so it is great to be able to walk everywhere. If is also close to a laundry mat for those of you on longer trips.

This place is VERY conveniently located to both the main street shopping and the beautiful shore walk. We stayed in the town motel portion of the Moseley. It is old. It is like traveling in the 1950s. But it is wonderful. The maid was very nice and specifically asked us if there was anything she could get for us. Then, when we mentioned that we would like to make the room a little cooler she actually took action and that night the room was much cooler. (perfect for me and a little cool for my wife-just like home). The gentleman that checked us in was very informative about the best places to go in Acadia to get some great pictures. Because it was like an old 50's motel there were several places outside for our group of eight to gather and socialize into the evenings and for coffee and snacks in the morning. We really liked our accommodations here and would recommend it to anyone. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Bah Hahbah we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: I am sure the rooms in the Cottage Inn would be nice. But I really liked the ability to back my car...

My teenage daughter and I stayed in the Inn for three nights on a recent trip to Bar Harbor and the Moseley Cottage was just perfect! Great in town location on a side street with a parking lot. We stayed on the third floor in the Precipice room which was quite large with two beds - a king and a double; however, the bathroom was small - only one of us in there at a time. Home cooked breakfast, baked goods, yogurt with homemade granola (delicious!) and eggs made to order. Free wifi. Warm hospitality with lots of suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc.
