What a nice place. The rooms are spacious, clean, free wifi and was built in 2003 which I believe makes it the newest in Bar Harbor. It is a 5 minute walk to the center of town which makes it close enough but just far enough away from the busy shopping district. Breakfast is adequate for hotel fare and always well stocked and fresh. There is a nice restaurant next door "McKays" (sp?) where we ate dinner twice during the four nights we stayed. Service was efficient and friendly. I loved the rocking chairs on the front porch for just "chillin out" after a day in the park. Room had a small fridge which I employed to keep a couple of adult beverages cold for my porch sitting evenings. Plenty of free parking a heated pool (I didn't use) and a gift shop. We also took the package deal and had dinner at the Bar Harbor Inn, bus tour of the park and a lobster bake at the Bar Harbor Inn. I'd stay here again....no questions asked. Dennis is the name of the manager and he and his entire staff are to be commended for running a great hotel.
