Have been coming back to Bar Harbor from Colorado for years just to eat at here. Food is excellent, reasonably priced and outstanding service from long time employees.

We ate lunch at the Chart Room in early August after spending the morning at Acadia National Park. The food (Lobster and fried clams) was great - the service was great - the price was about the same as everyplace else - no complaints here.

The best Chowder in the area-- nice view of the water and very rustic/seaside inside. The Chart Room is on the left as you approach Bar Harbor on Rte 3. It's a great place for dinner and the blueberry pie is perfect! We've had lobster there a few times and it was very reasonable! Great place for families, but not overly casual. A nice place for dinner!

Very nice place to eat. Good view of the cove from number of tables -- get there early or make a reservation. Good menu variety, good food. Service is friendly, but a bit brisk, not a place for a leisurely meal, they'll get you in and out quickly.
