“Clean rooms - easy to get around!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I stayed here for a conference at the end of October and have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel is. The rooms are clean and quiet and offered us a nice patio (limited privacy) with a view of the ocean. The conference rooms are quite nice and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Dining was included in our weekend here and the food was above average. Great choices for breakfast in the morning, and the evening bartender was a real treat! Great girl who really knows how to make drinks! The location is just a few minutes drive from the busy downtown area where there is lots of shopping and beautiful sites so make sure you check it out!

Room Tip: Get a room on the upper level is noise bothers you. Sometimes you can hear the people above you...w...

Recommended by some friends during a recent visit, Atlantic Oceanside did not dissapoint. We stayed in the new building, very clean and comfortable, with ocean view rooms, heated pool, friendly staff, and free continental breakfast (if you want more you can purchase from a menu). Very convenient to both downtown (short drive or a good walk) and the N.P. We'd definitely stay here again if we make it back.

We travel with our dog, the pet rooms are right by the ocean on Frenchman,s bay. Very basic, but great price and clean. Near everything. Be sure and take the the nature tour that leaves from the dock right next door, we saw three bald eagles !

My family and I recently stayed here for 2 nights during our Maine, Nova Scotia road trip. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect location. Our room faced the water and we enjoyed the views all day long. We were minutes from Acadia National Park which we enjoyed for a day as well as minutes from town as well. The free continental breakfast was great every morning, they had everything we needed to start our day. The staff was always so friendly and pleasant. I would defnitely reccommed this hotel to stay and hope to be back soon!

My fiance and I stayed three nights here and loved it. From check in to departure it was a wonderful stay, We had a room on the fourth floor in the newest building and it was very comfortable, large, clean, the bath was very large and nice. Breakfast was usual, but well stocked, the grounds were well kept and location was between Acadia and town, very convenient. The view from our balcony was overlooking Frenchman Bay, and was beautiful. Only drawback was it seemed the walls must have been very thin. Could hear man in next room snoring very easily and it was annoying.

Room Tip: get in newest building think its #4 top 4th floor

Winter rates were in effect and we got a beautiful ocean view room with a veranda for a reasonable price. The breakfast was offered in a clean roomy space and had a decent and fresh variety to choose from. Not many options to eat within walking distance and town is a short drive away.

During our recent East Coast driving trip (from Boston to PEI), we spent the first night at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel in Bar Harbour. The room was fantastic!!! Top floor, facing the water and sunrise was fantastic!!! We had just one night here, but it was perfect!! We were also just minutes from Acadia National Park and lots of great lobster pounds!!! When we return to this area we will definitely be staying here again. Breakfast was complimentary and with a nice variety of items including homemade peanut butter :).

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the water and high up for the best views.
