“Lovely museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

The Dorr Museum is a wonderful place to visit on the College of Atlantic campus. There is no entrance fee, but there is a box for donations. The students are very friendly and informative about the exhibits and the touch tank. It is a bright atmosphere which provides an educational experience and a fun time rolled into one. Most of the exhibits have been made by the students and show their dedication to making the museum a high quality place. If you have time, walk around the beautiful campus and take a ride on the rope swing!

“Great Hands On Experience for Children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

We stopped here on a whim one sunny day and were happy we did. The Touch Tank program taught everyone in the family a little something about the local sea life. It can be busy, but it was worth the visit. Take time to check out the whale skull across the street from the museum!

This is a small Museum, but we were very impressed with the content. The displays are great and it's worth the stop.

“Small but worth a quick visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

A few stuffed animals for the kids to see and a small touch tank with some starfish etc. Note the 40 ton whale skull opposite - it's huge! Good toilet facilities. Tip: even though it's free it does need donations so drop a dollar or two in the tip box.
