“"Nice"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

It was a very nice cruise and we learned a lot about Bar Harbor and its amazing natural beauty.
The sunset views were pretty and had a great time looking at bald eagles and seals. Boat itself was pretty clean and staff was friendly. A must do in Bar Harbor Maine.

“Not to be missed nature cruise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

We recently took the Acadian Nature Cruise. We had a wonderful guide who had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about the sea animals, the lobster industry and the park. It was a sunny warm day and as we went along the coast we saw loons, harbor seals, harbor dolphins and eagles. Our guide told us about each in detail. He pointed out "summer cottages" along the way with their history. The staff were friendly and this was a wonderful way to spend two hours and learn so much about the area. This is a boat cruise not to be missed.

“Sunset cruise on Bar Harbor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

We couldn't take the whale watch due to choppy seas and had to settle for the Nature Cruise. It was truly beautiful. We saw so many sites, Acadia from the sea is really pretty. Beautiful homes along the harbor. We saw five eagles, seals, and a beautiful sunset. The guide was entertaining and knew about the nature and history of the area. You can purchase drinks for a modest fee. The cost was low and this was the capper to a beautiful day in Bar Harbor.

“Acadian Nature Cruises”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

A rainy day turned into a very nice day when we went on the Acadian Nature Cruise. We had the most wonderful time listening to our guide talking about the area and pointing out the different wildlife that could be seen. You could tell that they loved what they were doing. Since it was raining more or less the whole time we were all sitting under the roof, and they had blankets for people to use. I had pre booked the trip on line, so we knew we had a spot. They provided free parking at the site.

It's so nice to hear from our passengers that even on the not-the-best weather days there is still an abundance of wonderful things to see and talk about! Thank you for sharing your thoughts - and yes, we have found the free parking to be a real help for passengers.

“Interesting tour with seals, eagles and many historical sights.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

We chose Acadian nature cruises over the bar harbor whale watch to avoid the "vomit comet" experience. There were many warnings and reviews that the bigger catamaran is tough to stomach. We were very happy with our decision. Saw many seals and 4 bald eagles. The crew was knowledgeable about the area and friendly.
