“Great Izakaya consistently”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Have been a customer for over 15years.
Always come back although the menu has NEVER changed!
Yoko san is owner with husband in the kitchen. They are very friendly and warm to visitors.
Must haves are the Chicken Salad, the Tofu Steak and if they have, try the Buri kama, fried shrimp, and the rib-eye steak are always good with a cold beer!
They open and close early, so dinner before 9pm. Closed Sundays.
They are open for lunch for the best hamburger curry.

“Best for Fried Shrimp & Tofu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

Anytime I get a craving for fried shrimp (not tempura) this small Japanese restaurant is my go to place. Its a little out of the way located on the 3rd floor of a non-descript building in Tumon. But you can't miss it once there because of its bright green door. In fact that is what everyone seems to call it the "green door". Only been there for lunch and food choices are limited to about 10 items but all of them are very tasty - especially popular besides their fried shrimp are the tofu steak and hamburger steak with curry (be careful this dish is extremely spicy!). Meat dishes have fairly large portions for lunch and run $10 to $12 and come with soup, rice, macaroni salad, cabbage salad. Please note that lunch hours are from 11:30am to 1:00pm a very short window but food comes out fast. They also are open for dinner with a similar menu but adding items like rib eye steak ($25).

“Good, basic Japanese fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

Have only had lunch there. Menu has limited selections but the food is very good. The Japanese style of curry is probably the best on Guam. Don't expect sushi, as there is none. All of the menu items are "salary-man" fare with hot, cooked dishes that are filling and reasonably priced.

“Authentic "Katsu" Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Delicious and traditionally Japanese "Katsu" (fried) dishes in this little restaurant tucked away in the heart of Tumon. More widely know as the "Green Door Restaurant" this establishment is a mom & pop type operation with a large following of repeat customers. Great, freshly made salads, fried tofu, Katsy pork cutlets, steak, Japanese sausages ... Hmmmm, getting hungry just writing about it!
