“Aged”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Spent three nights at the Marriott as part of a business trip. A couple things that I enjoyed - free internet (as a Marriott member), proximity to town, cheap laundry services and friendly staff.
My concerns:
The hotel itself is aged...and in parts, falling apart. It desperately needs new concrete around the pool as it's cracking and the exterior appearance of the hotel is not great. The lobby has been redone but the rooms don't seem to have been touched.
Overall it was not a horrible experience (and probably quite comparable for the rate), however, there are much nicer and well kept hotels in Tumon.

Not worth a dime of what I paid! The photos on their site is deceiving. The suite was very old the a/c did not blow out cold air making the room feel humid. I stayed at the Hyatt last year and their standard room was much nicer than the Mariott's suite. Staff at the Marriott were very friendly but I'm sorry to say that the suite's are definitely not worth $310/night. Never staying here again...lesson learned.

I used points to book my stay for 12 hours as part of a layover and the staff were very accomodating in working with me to maximize my stay considering I arrived at 6 AM and had to check out the same day. The lobby is nice and everyone in reception was very friendly.

The rooms, much like the exterior is in need of refurbishment. However, I will say that my bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains did the trick. The hotel is direclty on the beach and had a big pool with beach access that I did not get to use.

I recently returned from a 10 day business trip to Guam. Unfortunately , the Hilton and the Sheraton was fully booked. I am not normally a complainer . I must admit this was not a pleasant stay. Ironically I live in Guam from 2006 to 2008 and should have known better. To start the place is outdated by 10 years. The decor and paint is old. I reserved a King room and was giving a double queen with a coft already deployed when I emphasized that I was the sole traveler. The iron and coffee maker was broken, the internet connection was sparatic and weak. Unfortunately the poor military members are sent there because billeting on the two military bases are full. The only highlight is the beach bar and access to the beach. I will never stay there again.!

Great snorkeling right at the beach at the hotel. Nice pool, enjoyable bar with nightly live music.

The rooms were old and worn, but comfortable. For the most part the staff was helpful and accessible.

This hotel is in very poor condition. The whirlpool is not in operation, some elevators were not working, you need to put your room key in a timer for the lights in your room to work. Breakfast is way over priced and the cook can't prepare eggs properly. Te exterior is in very poor condition. The one pus is the staff are very friendly and helpful. I moved to another hotel after 3 days of a 60 day trip. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Very nice, but 20+ dollars for breakfast is outrageous. And don't expect to get a snack for less than 10 dollars!
Small but beautiful beach area, and close to restaurants, are positives, as was the all access gym. A little dated, but huge.
Only major complaints were that the pool closed at 8pm, and that it could get a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.
Overall, a very nice place to stay, and I will hopefully be back.
