“good selection, but the staff shine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

Great selection of local seafood cooked to taste, the staff are particularly wonderful though, they were more than happy to help with food intolerances and local recommendations.

“Not great ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

The server was friendly but continued to try and upsell throughout the meal. The food was mediocre .had the crab cocktail which was lacking in flavor.
The clam chowder was more of a broth not a chowder.

“Expensive and slow, even by Guam standards”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

The "sit-down" restaurant in the Hilton Hotel on Guam--which is in Tumon rather than Tamuning--has had at least three make-overs in the past four years: steakhouse, then Japanese, and now fish restaurant. They have all been relatively expensive and attractive to look at, but disappointing. This incarnation is probably the worst of the three. The gimmick is that customers pick out the fish they want from a display and decide how they want it cooked. It would be nice if the waiting time for a menu, for drinks, and for the meal itself was less than 20 minutes each. Beverages have to be brought from another part of the hotel, with the result that customers may be served their cocktail toward the end of the dinner. Our server was laid back and cheerful, but three hours for a cocktail, an appetizer, and main dish seems to be a common experience. I don't know anyone local who has dared more than one visit, especially since better seafood at much better prices can be found elsewhere on Tumon Bay.

“Worst restaurant experience of my life”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

The service was beyond bad; the food was mediocre and expensive. My husband ordered the parrot fish and it was partly raw. It would have cost about $20 anywhere else but here it was by the pound and it was almost $50! We complained about the service and they gave us 10% off but it wasn't until I got home that I realized they charged us for an extra meal! The only bright spot is that the business associates we were with still laugh and make jokes about the place.
