Denny's on the US mainland offers impressive breakfasts and adequate diner-style lunch and dinner. On Guam, where most of the food is flown in from the US, the higher costs translate into small portions. The breakfasts are skimpier and less tasty than those offered at King's or Shirley's; the lunch and dinner entrees are assembled by disinterested cooks. My last burger was small, dry, and overcooked, and accompanied by flavorless french fries; my wife's soup tasted fresh...from the can. The Micronesia Mall branch is one of the dingiest, most depressing eateries at Guam's largest shopping venue. Why go? Because it's open 24 hours. Stick to the pancakes, which are the least objectionable item.
