To caveat this review, I did not stay at the resort. I am reviewing the Golfing experience only at this resort......
The Good: Amazing views of the mountains surrounding the area
The Bad: Everything else...I don't know what has happened to the concept of "Customer Service" at this place but I get better service in the States in a fast food drive through than I did at this resort while spending more than $150.00 on green fees and club rentals.
Take away the views and this course has a very Municipal GC course feel. Problem is it isn't $20 bucks. Condition is very poor.
Tip for golfers - Since I couldn't find anyone that works there that was willing and able to use words to form sentences here are a few tips that will save you same headached/strokes if you have to play here...
-the "Grain" on the greens grows toward the ocean and is severe
-Bring your own clubs, the rentals are in bad shape and they did not offer any options (stiff/regular, etc.)
-play early if alone, course was full of four and even five somes that were reluctant to let a single play through
-There is no marshall or cart beverage service on the course whatsoever
-There is another course that the locals call the "West" course that is a quarter mile away - might try it
