But the biggest magnet is Ko Olina Resort with its glorious coves for swimming and sunning. Ko Olina’s newest addition is Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa that sidesteps typical Disney fantasy and focuses on celebrating the reality of Hawaiian culture, history and traditions. With the help of Mickey, Minnie and the gang decked out in aloha attire, the resort has a fun vibe that never lets you lose sight that it’s all about the Hawaiian Islands. At Ko Olina, you’ll also find two of Oahu’s most popular luaus at Germaine’s and Paradise Cove, plus a selection of ocean excursions departing the resort’s marina. « less

“Perfect for little ones”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

My children loved the lagoons. We did not stay at the resort but we ended up on that side of the island because it seemed to be raining everywhere else but here. We headed out early and just happened to grab a parking spot someone was pulling out of. Glad we did, otherwise we would have been in for quite a walk! The lagoons were quiet, clean and the calm water was perfect for our kids. Their are dining options here but we spent a pretty penny on burgers and a salad that we ended up splitting among the 5 of us.The bathrooms were very well maintained and the grounds were very clean. This is a nice place but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to drive over there again.

“Quiet Beaches with all the resort amenities.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

These lagoons are man made, 4 in all. Each one is very peaceful and clean, a great place for the family. Great for swimming, playing in the sand and snorkeling. With all the amenities of the Marriot and Disney resorts. Great path for walking that goes along all 4 lagoons and the marina.

“Beautiful lagoons”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

Calm waters are protected from the ocean in these man-made lagoons. They are easy to swim in with nice, sandy bottoms. Options exist in adjacent restaurants for access to food and drinik nearby. A must see if you are in the area.

“Private Beach .....With Others”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

There are several options of beaches in Ko'Olina. All are good. The feeling of seclusion was great, even though there are other people on the beach. FANTASTIC SUNSET!

“Great safe experience for snorkeling and swimming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

Clean water, great beach and a safe environment. I saw sea turtles in the the 1st cove While I was snorkeling. I know that the coves are man-made, but they are still a lot of fun. They are starting to get some natural coral growth, and there are more fish than ever around the rocks.
