This is my first time trying Sushi Bay. It is similar to Genki Sushi and Kuru Kuru. I had the Ahi Poke bowl for $8.99. It was a very large bowl. I asked the waitress for regular rice instead of sushi rice with the Ahi Poke Bowl. They gave me sushi rice :(. It was a lot of rice. Half way between a chawan and saimin bowl. They were very generous with the ahi poke. It seemed to be over a half pound. I usually take the ahi poke and put it on the black plate (the color of the plate determines the price of the dish). I mix it with shoyu and wasabi and it taste great. I also had an order of tempura pumpkin. It was only a $1.50. It was much better than Kuru Kuru pumpkin. The pumpkin slices were thick and delicious. I really liked the pumpkin. I saw a few ahi sushi that were very large slices. They looked good, but I didn't have room for any more food.
If there were anything, they didn't come that often to fill in the water and the tea, but it wasn't too much of a distraction. Overall it was good and we enjoyed the food. It was worth the price for the food. I hear if you go later than 6:00 on Saturday night there is a long line.
