“decent alternative to resort food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 NEW

Situated in the little shopping area opposite the JW Marriott, this seemed to be the happening place. Being accessible by the inter-resort shuttle also helps.

We had a couple burgers ($13-19) and it was a little disappointing that some fries or salad were not included. Prices for steak and seafood were similar to resort prices so not great incentive to venture out of the hotel.

“Popular Restaurant in Ko Olina”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014 NEW

Nice restaurant, crowded, with average food. I would have rated this restaurant higher if we had a better server: She was not friendly, a bit snobbish, I kind of felt she was just into herself. The food was nothing outstanding, not bad just average, but in my opinion, the quality of service can sway a review, and this is what I felt happened in this case.

“happy hour pricing rocks!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014 NEW

Stopped in for happy hour last week and scored a seat on the patio. Maitais were the best we had all week. Had the delicious butternut squash pizza then ordered another with pepperoni that was just ok. Service was quick and the music was great. Definitely a great addition to the Ko Olina area.

“Good alternative to the resorts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014 NEW

Decent food for lunch or dinner and a great alternative with a better prices to the resort restaurants. Nice selection of both lunch and dinner entrees and drinks. Good family or couples option and a short walk from the Marriott’s and Disney resorts.

“Good family friendly restaurant conveniently located in Ko Olina”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014 NEW

My family is currently enjoying our annual visit to the Aloha isles. This year, we have returned to Oahu and are staying in Ko Olina for part of our trip. There has definitely been a fair bit of commercial development in the general area of Kapolei since our last visit, but the restaurant scene in Ko Olina, while improving, still lacks much variety. We had our meal during happy hour which offers a good range of food (appetizers and pizza) and drinks (cocktail, wine and beer) at significantly discounted prices. My wife and I enjoyed several cocktails each (they were all very good to excellent) and the food we tried, while not outstanding, was reasonably good. It's part of the Merriman's restaurant empire so the impression is that of a well run American chain. Although the restaurant fronts the major roadway, they have done a good job with landscaping to maximize the ambience on the patio as much as possible. At the regular prices, it isn't a remarkable value (Hawaii is generally fairly expensive); however, the happy hour pricing certainly improves things. All in all, a worthwhile addition to the restaurant scene in Ko Olina.
