“Best for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

This oceanfront cafe is nestled in the Marriott Beach Club resort, so you are probably a guest there if you reading this. If not, you may need to brave security fences and valet parking to get to it. Once there you will enjoy a stunning view of the ocean lagoon. As far as food, the morning buffet was a good value for a hotel and good quality. The lunch items were not as tasty to me, but washed down more easily with a frozen cocktail! Service was great.

“Tasty food with an ocean view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

I ate here almost everyday during my stay at the Marriott Vacation Club. Each meal was delicious, it was a relaxed outdoor atmosphere, and the ocean was right next to me. AHHH!

“Great location, Poor food and service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We ate twice at Longboards during a recent visit in Feb 2013, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The location is fabulous, right on the lagoon in front of the beach. We went down for breakfast on day one, and were able to watch whales from our table. The breakfast was a little pricey - $18 for hot and $15 for cold buffet, no a la carte option. Thin waxy paper napkins, melamine type mugs that were scratched (the sort you get on cheap cruises). Food was poor - scrambled egg had a grey tinge and everything was cold. We were advised that they would cook fresh eggs if you asked but I couldn't find anyone to ask.

We went back for lunch a few days later - mainly because the location was so good. Lunch was a little better. I had Teriyaki Chicken which was quite poor but the kids burgers looked better. Again the food was not hot.

It really would not take much effort to make this a much better experience. However, whenever we walked past the place was either full or had a wait so I guess there is no incentive.

After the second attempt we abandoned Longboards and walked down to Ama Ama in Disney, which was significantly better food for around the same price.
