“The best breakfast I have ever had.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Had the pancakes with passion-fruit sauce and the eggs benedict with hash browns. In my week long trip in Hawaii this was the BEST and most memorable meal I had all week. Absolutely delicious.

“Good for some”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

My spouse loved this place because he likes eggs and hash browns and corned beef but I who prefer lighter and fruit breakfasts was not so impressed. Dealing with my fruit - when they have it it is not bad to order sides - sliced tomatoes, papaya etc but the fruit bowl was awful - apples banana and some herbaceous Orange for $7.00 I was disgusted. Price reasonable generally speaking; service slow but this place is busy. More people seem to like it than do I

“Scrumptious Breakfasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Friendly, efficient service. Everything cooked right and delicious. The in-house corned beef hash was tops, good with fluffy rice and well cooked egg. Biscuit with honey butter, basted egg, and real hash brown potatoes. Folks lined up for breakfast all morning long should tell you this is the place to go for breakfast.

“Lovely Breakfast in Kailua”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

After a morning of hiking we were famished and ready for some breakfast and decided to give Moke's Bread and Breakfast in Kailua a try. The inside was pretty busy but they had outside seating which was perfect and got seated promptly. We had the lilikoi pancakes (short stack), the Moke Nui omelet (bacon, ham, spinach, mushrooms, tomatos, onions and cheese) with hash browns and the home made Corned Beef Hash with 2 eggs, brown rice and rye toast.

The lilikoi pancakes were to die for!!! It was absolutely divine!! Pancakes were nice and fluffy and the lilikoi sauce was just fantastic!! Not too sweet, just perfect. I should have ordered a full stack but wanted to try a variety of items so the half stack hit the spot. The Moke Nui omelet was nice with a good helping of spinach. And the homemade corned beef hash had chunks of potato. It comes in a patty and at first I thought ...humm..one patty but looks are deceiving. It was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. All in all...pretty good.

Sign says hours are till 2:00pm daily. Location is next to Boston's Pizza and across of Kailua Pub and Grill. They had live music when we got there.

“Great Breakfast...will definitely go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

On one of our first days here in Kailua we searched for a breakfast spot and came across Mokes. I had the eggs benedict special and my husband had the pork chop breakfast. Good, filling, and satisfiying. We went back this morning and found that they are closed on Tuesday! ;-(. Will try again tomorrow. :-)
