“Excellent curry, inexpensive and local.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012 via mobile

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we found this awesome little place! It is market which also serves authentic curry dishes. One would probably never find it without knowing about it. The lamb and chicken curry were delicious and only about $12 a piece. ( a bargain for Hawaii!). You eat outside on picnic tables, very quaint and local feeling.

“Best Indian food I've ever had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012 via mobile

The lamb curry and nan bread were absolutely amazing.. Totally authentic Indian food. They have shrimp, beef, chicken, and lamb curry. Great flavor and spices. The establishment is a store with unique foods from all over, the food is at the back. The owners are very nice and truly appreciate your business. I highly recommend eating here.

“Awesome curry; locals like the lamb but we preferred the chicken”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012

Was directed here by a local and was very glad to have found it! Tasty, but not too spicey - even the kids loved it. It's a take-out counter at the back of a family-run store, and there is a screened-in eating area outside.

“Fabulous find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2011

The curry was Great!!! It's not a restaurant. I was so bored with shrimp, hamburgers and Mexican, this place was a godsend. You purchase the curry from the back of the shop for take away. They do have tables outside the supermarket......it's all about the food. You can also purchase the powders or pastes to make your own curry if you are in self contained accommodation.

If anyone is going there please tell them to get online. I want to buy the Woodwards Gripe water from their supermarket. It's the best thing for Colic!!! They have the one with the Indian herbs. There are different recipes of Gripe water around. The one they have is the right one!!
