We stayed in condo A303 at Wavecrest on Molokai and had visited the other islands on previous trips. Molokai's scenery and activities are unique and well suited towards a slower-paced vacation. Those fortunate enough to reside on Molokai were friendly and helpful. Wavecrest was perfect for us-quiet, great pool area, centrally located and well-maintained. The "A" building at Wavecrest is situated right on the water (although no beach here) and affords a perfect view across the channel to Maui. I would love to return to Molokai during whale season and would certainly stay at Wavecrest again.

The Wavecrest is a very quite group of Condos on the Ocean Front on the beautiful island of Molokai. The units share a lovely pool and sheltered sitting area, outdoor barbeques and bathrooms. The grounds are kept immaculate and the views are spectacular. Our unit A 303 faces Mauai and the sunssets were spectacular. It was a very comfortable place with a fine kitchen and nice bath. Everything was in great condition and worked well. We enjoyed cooking our own meals which on Molokai is the best way to go. The location we found to be perfect, a short drive to town and Friendly's Market and the Bakery. The Bakery was great for breakfast and other take home goodies and is right across the street from the market. It was close to our favorite cove for swimming and also a short drive to the end of the Island for a most spectacular drive and hikes. Incredible scenery, very solitary and peaceful. We would highly recommend a stay at this Condo, the top floor provided a noiseless stay, no footstep heard. I should say the weather was perfect, 80 everyday and a few raindrops at night or afternoon and always a cooling breeze. Beautiful Island and a wonderful condomimium.

After researching Molokai and the accommodations available I decided we wanted something a little bit different than what they had to offer. I searched online for "privately owned rentals" and lots of condos and cottages came up. I literally went through ALL the listings! When I came across Wavecrest A304 "Ka Hale Ola" I knew that this is where we wanted to be. The pictures and description were wonderful. I emailed the owner and after hearing back immediately, everything was set in motion. It was wonderful to work with Chaya and the reviews on her website were great.
Upon arrival to the condo, we were very impressed as we drove through the complex. We had been given an information packet via email and it was to the letter. It was late when we arrived and walking into this beautifully lit place was very calming and inviting. It looked exactly like the pictures on the internet! The floors sparkled, it smelled wonderful and everything was as described if not more so! The pool area is great and easily accessible. I used the laundry facility and it dried my clothes faster than ever before! Ha! The view from the lanai was spectacular and it was hard to leave the condo to do any other activities!

KA HALE OLA IS PERFECT!

If you like Asian furnishings and lovely ambiance, this is the place for you. Very well appointed condo, stocked with all possible appliances, and entertainment supplies you could wish for. There is no AC, but many fans available. Excellent view over water, facing Maui- but contrary to the name "Wavecrest", there really are no waves here! Although this condo is full of lovely furniture and supplies, there may be a few too many things in it if you're at all clostrophobic. Fortunately, we're not- but it is very very full! We would recommend that you keep good written notes of what the original rate quote is, as well as all deposits. You may need to follow up in order to get any deposits back.
