We've used David Gianotto's place many times and we are never disappointed. Pizza spaghetti, meatballs, Philly Steak sandwches, parmesean dishes, and tiramissou to die for. Parking is across the street (heading downhill, or in lots one door down or behind the building.

The reason we give it a 3 star atmosphere, is that it is in fact a pizza parlour.

A few guidebooks told us BJ's in Lahaina was, but they were way off.

I'm an East Coast girl currently living in Alaska, and this pizza instantly reminded me of home. Giant, thin crust, and cooked to perfection. We arrived near closing time and they were still so friendly and accomodating, even refilling our drinks for us while we happily munched away outside.

Definitely stop and eat at this place when on Maui!

I visited Giannotto's after going for a hike in Wailuku. We were starving and could not find any decent looking restaurants in Wailuku. We stopped for gas and decided to try the food court across the street as a last resort. We passed up all the shady looking asian eats inside the food court, and took a shot at Giannotto's. We were pleasantly surprised by their choices - pizza specials, pasta, desserts, etc. The owner took our pizza orders and then even let us sample the meatball once we later realized they offered a meatball sandwich - which changed our orders! He also let us sample the tiramisu which we also ordered. The meatball sandwich was delicious - very hearty - and the tiramisu was good but not the best I've ever had. We also ordered the cheesecake which was a fabulous combination of sweet & salty. We will definitely visit Giannotto's again on our next trip to Maui!
