“Highly recommended to anyone.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2012 via mobile

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone anything on the menu is good and if you aren't sure just ask the server what to get and they will tell you what is good. Out-of-the-way but worth it and really easy to find just a little off the beaten track. A must try.

“Unexciting Vietnamese food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2011

Maui doesn't have many choices when it comes to Vietnamese food. This place, located next to Sam Sato's, is cheaper than other Vietnamese places in town, but overall more expensive that you'd find in Oahu. The broth was uninspiring, there were limited toppings on the pho.

I'd go again, but only because there aren't many other choices.

“NEVER, EVER Eat Here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2010

Two nights ago my friends who have been going there for a couple of years had the worst experience ever. They said that the server was serving food while having blistering sores all over his mouth. Ultimately 1 out of the party of 6 or 7 found a MAGGOT in her food. When it was brought to their attention, the server said he would bring another plate then said he was going to call the owner. The whole party just walked out. I have personally not eaten there yet, but definately will not now. I am actually attending culinary school & taking a class on safety & sanitation and this is HORRIBLE. The conditions that have to be present in order for maggots to actually hatch in food......WOW. Hawaii really needs a restaurant grading system similar to what California has A-F according to health inspections.

“my favorite place in Maui”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2008

The restaurant is only a few miles from the Kahului Airport. I love their canh chua ca with fresh ingredients. They grow their own mint, basil leaves, chilly peppers and bac ha. The plate of fish sauce and fresh cut chilly peppers is still mouth-watering to think of. Fried fish and caramel fish are also great. The service is very friendly. We went their twice while vacationing in Maui.
