I did this with my two girls (15 and 12). We had ziplined once before, on a smaller course, so had some idea of what to expect. However, the ziplines here were in a class of their own. A real adrenaline rush! I'm not the most athletic person, but after the first of the eight zip lines, I was as eager as my kids. The staff are excellent--friendly, professional and ready to go the extra mile. They accommodated our small group's requests for photos and videos and did all they could to make the day special. Worth every single penny. As a bonus, you'll be supporting an eco-friendly company, too. The man who started the business wanted to keep the developers away from the hills he loved, and is helping to replant native species over the land.
Another zipline company has their office at the Maui Plantation, where Flyin Hawaiian is located. On the way back from our adventure, we saw them lining up for their tour. Lots of six year olds. I knew we had made the right choice for our zipline experience. (The ride in the jeep on the way back was awesome, too!)
