We had lunch at the Seascape Ma’alaea restaurant on 14th June 2013, before we visited the Maui Ocean Center and ordered the following dishes for four persons.
Hot and Spicy Chicken wings: This was very good with a crispy skin. Marinated in a sourish Mexican chili sauce which was sourish and spicy. Served with some salads.
Turkey Bacon sandwich: Was average and not exciting, and was served with fries that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Shrimp octopus Salad: The dressing was tangy and the vegetables fresh and crunchy.
Baby back ribs: Was delicious. Truly finger licking good.
Clams with chardonnay sauce: Came with a bowl of potatoes and garlic bread. Unfortunately, the delicious chardonnay source was not fully appreciated because the bread was garnished with garlic. The potatoes were toped with grated cheese.
On the whole, the service was fast and the waitress polite, friendly and attentive. Prices were on the side of average and there was a free flow of coffee if this was ordered.
The establishment is part of the Maui Ocean Center, and you can purchase the entrance fee to the Ocean Center at the restaurant.
