“Fresh fish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

We had the special fish of the day - opakapaka fish tacos. The two fish tacos had loads of lettuce and salsa. The fish was very fresh and flaky and was accompanied with coleslaw, potatoes and rice. A huge meal for about $10! There are picnic benches inside that fill up fast. Get there early for lunch or have a late lunch to avoid the line out the door.

“Great Seafood at a Great Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

It's not a fancy place, however the food is well worth it! Huge portions and great variety. No dress code here!

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

We stopped by for a meal to carry with us, before heading on the flight home. My sister and I ordered the Fish Tacos, they were the best I have ever eaten. The potatoes were delicious, as well as the slaw. Love fish tacos. My nephew had the calamari, he said it was delicious....One of the most economical meals I had while on Maui. The workers were really busy, they didn't appear very friendly. I guess that is forgivable as the place was packed.
Love it, will certainly eat there again @ my next visit.

“Casual atmosphere, awesome food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

We showed up right as they opened for lunch and there was already a crowd lining up to get in. Service was quick andalthoughit looked packed we got a table quickly. They have communal tables set up and everyone was happy to make room. The portions were huge and food was excellent, only wish we had tried it earlier in our trip, would have gone back everyday for lunch. Try the potatoes!

“Busy, but good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Not a gourmet restaurant, but really fun and reasonably good. As the other reviews said, it was busy with a line to the odor, but it moved quickly, and the food came out in a timely fashion. The chicken quesadillas were large and contained chicken, beans, and cheese, along with potatoes (or rice or fries) and slaw. The shrimp and chips were as advertised, plus slaw. The slaw was too large cut cabbage for me, but the atmosphere was fun.
