My husband & I visited Charley's for lunch. We've enjoyed the calamari there for years and were looking forward to it. We waited at the "Please wait to be seated" sign, and waited, and waited. Servers walked by us several times until finally one acted like she noticed us and sat us in a booth. We received menus and water. Unfortunately, calamari is no longer on the menu. We decided on Reubens instead. After waiting 10 more minutes and watching a server take care of two tables across an aisle from us, my husband got up and asked someone if our server could take our order. She looked surprised and said she'd have our server take care of us right away. When the server arrived to take our order and I ordered a Reuben she told me I really didn't want that because the meat was bad. Really? That was it for us. We walked out and enjoyed lunch at a restaurant down the street. We've been going to Maui for years and Charley's is always a "must go". Never again. Sorry, Charley.
