The town of Paia was sold out as well as all the hotels in the immediate area so we were forced to pay the $400 per night for the spacious #6 suite. It was huge and super comfortable with a full kitchen, lanai, king bed and pull out sofa. The short walk to the beach was no prob and the beach was beautiful. Too rough for swimming and surfing while we were there but spectacular view of entire coast and mountains. Only negative I can think of is there was noise from the near by busy Flatbreads restaurant from time to time. The girls at the reception desk were delightful and the vibe and decor throughout was hip and clean.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- The postcard perfection of Maui’s North Shore (white sand beaches, raging waterfalls, stylish cafes, and world-class surfers) just got even better with the opening of the Paia Inn. This beach town boutique hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with the historic character of its building. In a nod to the town’s plantation trade days, the building’s exterior has retained its charm with tin rooftops and rustic hues; yet, the interior mixes contemporary island furnishings with the chic lushness of the W Hotel. ... more less
