“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We stayed here the first week in March, its a great place. You can sit out on your balcony depending on what time of year you go and watch the whales in the distance along with a beautiful sunset. We had a loft style condo which we stayed upstairs in the loft and it was comfortable. You can walk a short distance to the beach and along the way watch sea turtles below in the water. They provide two beach chairs and boogie boards. I was glad that we stayed here rather than a high rise hotel. I would come back, Maui is a beautiful place!

“A great visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This was our second visit to the Napili area and our first stay at Napili Point. It was everything we expected, and we loved the resort. Honokeana Cove right out front remains an excellent place to snorkel for fish and turtles, and a short walk puts you on Napili beach - one of the funnest beaches on Maui. Kapalua Beach is a slightly longer walk, but easily done. Both beaches also have good snorkeling. Napili is more laid back then either Kaanapali or Kihei, and remains our preferred location in Maui. Our only slight negative comment is about the barbeque grills in the common areas on the grounds. The condition, adjacent seating, and general accessibility of the grills is substandard based on our experience with other nearby resorts. We enjoy the fresh local fish and prefer to grill it, so this was a concern.

“Great Location in Napili”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We just returned from Napili Point with fond memories of our stay in unit B12. One of the best places we've stayed in with a comfortable modern unit. Awesome sunsets, close by the quiet swimming pool and BBQs. The people who manage this place are first class, thoughtful and very friendly. We had a kitchen tap issue on the second day, and they came the next day and installed a brand new one.The maid(s) and maintenance people were so polite and friendly making this a memorable trip. At Napili Point you are close to great beaches, Honolua Bay snorkelling(the best) and the astounding Kapalua Golf courses. Good grocery shopping at the Times store in Honokuwai down the road. Highly Recommended!

“Good Enough To Return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

This is a great place. We are coming back in Sep. 2013. I love the snorkeling and underwater pics and movies. The price is right, the folks who run it are great and the location is near the Kapalua Lava Trail and close to some great restaurants, namely Merriman's. we stayed on Ka'anapali Beach for a long time before discovering Napili Point Resort. It's far from the madding crowds. We love it!

“We'll be back - loved it here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Napili Point has it all -- great ocean front location, excellent snorkeling on one adjacent rocky beach, and a sandy beach on the other side, walking distance to good restaurants and a short drive to others, all at a reasonable price (2 couples sharing a 2-bedroom made it very affordable). After looking at the high-rise hotels in Kaanapali, we decided we wanted something smaller and more homey with more of a Hawaiian feeling. We were so glad we found Napili Point. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a Point Ocean Front Unit - C6 - a 2 bedroom with a lanai facing west in direct view of Molokai and Lanai. The master bedroom was in a loft with the same view as the lanai. It was hard to leave the lanai in the mornings -- we'd see whales, dolphins, and even a spectacular rainbow (pack your binoculars). When we did leave, we'd either snorkel in the bay to the south where you see lots of turtles very up close or we'd walk a short way to the sandy beach at Napili Bay to hang out and swim. There was maid service every day, which is unusual in condo complexes like this. It was nice to come back to a room with the beds made and clean towels. We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo most of the time and splurged on dinners out - The Sea House, Pineapple Grill (our favorite), Sansai (sushi) - were all within a 2-10 minute drive. We did our own "happy hour" on the lanai every evening and watched the sunsets before going out. When we did eat lunch out, we'd walk to the Gazebo at an off-time (otherwise there would be an hour wait) - the portions there are huge, so we'd share one meal and it was more than enough. I would go back to Napili Point in a heartbeat -- in fact, I wish I was there right now!

Room Tip: Point Ocean Front rooms are more expensive - but we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade. All of...
