“Spectacular sunset, nice dinner, fun music, and lots whales”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

For our last night in Maui we went on the Maui Princess Sunset Dinner Cruise. The cruise was lovely. Dinner was good, the music was fun and enjoyable. The captian was great - she went looking for whales. We got to see some nice whale breaches and tails. Sunset was spectacular. All the tables have good viewing. All the tables are located on the upper deck outside with an awesome view of the islands, sky, and ocean. But if you go durning whale watching seaon... ask for a table next to the rails otherwise you'll be looking over other people to see the whales. Don't forget to put sunscreen on... you are in the sun until it sets.

“WOW...a must do.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

We were a little worried when we waited for the thing to board. It's a mom-and-pop operation at the beginning, but once on board, what a great time with really good food (unthinkable given the surroundings). But you're on the water, clear skies and nothing but whales, water and sunset. Outstanding.

“Everyone should take this.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Only one recommendation and that is better directions to get in the right lineup for the dinner cruise. Maybe one more; the chairs are very close to the tables and do not move.
A beautiful night, super dinner, excellent service and smooth sailing though.

“Great for family or couples!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

I just went last night and it was amazing. The staff was great and very accomodating. The prime rib was very good and the atmosphere was great! We even saw a whale and her calf! The drinks were mixed well and the entertainment was great. A very talented Maui musician! I will definitely do this again and recommend it to others!

“Regrettable and forgettable”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

I'm really not a dinner cruise person, so shouldn't have allowed myself to get talked into this by the tour manager in the first place, but let her twist my arm and thought it might be a nice thing to do first night in Maui to get the lay of the land. My friend and I both had very disappointing meals (boiled veg and dry, microwaved mahi mahi) followed by frozen cheesecake. Drinks were ok. It was nice to get the views of the West Maui mountains, and the signer was great, but the whole experience was all a bit naff really. Regrettable and forgettable.
