Well, Im not a foodie, but I know seafood. I live on the west coast, and I know when my ceviche has too much onion, and when the Mahi Mahi is overcooked.
The worst was when we ordered an Ahi Tuna burger, it came as Ahi bundled with filler. For $20! What? I asked about it, after paying my bill and providing tip (service was great) and they explained that they add herbs eggs and "other stuff" to keep it together. When I ask for an Ahi burger, I expect that it is a fillet - unless Im at a fast food restaurant.
I should have sent it back...
I have had better experiences than this at diners.... again, great service though.
