A friend recommended this place, and I am so glad she did. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and inside is not exactly 4 star, but the food and view more than make up for those shortcomings.
Be sure to make a reservation if you will be having dinner there (no reservations for lunch - first come first served). Request lanai seating and you will be so close to the ocean water that you can almost touch it.
The seared ahi bruschetta is to die for. The bartenders know how to make a fine margherita, they have a fine wine selection (although a bit thin on wines under $100/bottle) and a descent selection of beers on tap made this an amazing experience. We liked it so much for dinner, we decided to have lunch there the next day right before we departed the island.
Living on Kauai (a 45 minute flight away), we have decided that next time we really want to treat ourselves to an amazing dinner, we are going to hop a plane and the airport and go to MaLa's.
