“Well done from start to finish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

I have been to several Luaus and this is the best food and show. You are greeted at the entry and escorted to bar to order a drink. Then escorted to your table. Food service was buffet style and most everything we tried was good. The sunset view is spectacular. The show had a good mixture of history and fun. The MC was a hoot and we thoroughly enjoyed the event. We were the oldest married couple in the audience and they had us stand and gave us beautiful floral leis.

“The Entertainment was great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

We booked this Luau at the last minute and paid extra for the preferred seating. The first hour you sort of just mingling among guest but once the entertainment starts it's a whole different experience. The master of ceremonies was funny and entertaining, the food was great and the sunset was amazing. Oh and don't forget the free selected drinks.

“If "good value" is your primary objective, yes you will save a few bucks, but you get what you pay for”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

This is the only luau I have been to. Felt like a sardine - very tight seating and whole area was so tight it was difficult to get through to see the sun setting over the ocean. I had read not to bother paying extra for preferred seating as all seats the same however we had a lot of trouble seeing past the people in front of us which did detract from the experience. Plastic tables all lined up in rows and plastic chairs on pebbles. We had trouble getting in and out of our seats as we were squeezed in between two other groups. Performers were enthusiastic and the show was good (though hard to see from our seats). Dinner was forgettable. I would prefer to pay more and have a better overall experience next time. We ate at Aloha Mixed Plate beside Old Lahaina Luau and the grounds and seating looked a million times better, not to mention food which smelled divine. So unless saving money is your primary objective, I would try another luau.

“Great show but really bad food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

The show was very good but the food was pretty bad. Check in was at 5:45 and they didn't start checking in till 6. The show was suppose to end at 9 and didn't end till almost 10. We waited a long time to get in and a long time to eat. I didn't really mind but the food was so bad. The fire show was awesome.

“Okay performance could not make up for awful food.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

The performance aspect of this show was generally pretty good, except for the MC's who seemed intent on time warping us back to the 70s. Location was pretty, and grounds were reasonably nice.

This could not make up for the horrible food. I really had a hard time finding anything in the buffet that was the least bit palatable. Fish was no better than cheap fish-sticks. Beef was old, overdone, and dry looking. Chicken was tasteless. A couple salads were okay, and I stuck to these.

My teenage son who will eat anything in great quantities left hungry.

I honestly didn't go into this Luau with high expectations. They were low to begin with, and they managed to not even meet those.
