“Fun Show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2014

The food at this Luau was better than when we last did a Luau. The activities before the dinner/show were fun for the kids. The backdrop of being on the water at sunset was ideal.
Wait staff was super nice and kept the drinks flowing w/o delay.

“Awesome Luau and Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

We were here with a group of 8 friends and family and also celebrating a birthday. It was such a fun evening, service was wonderful and the food was really good. The entertainment was wonderful. If you're in Lahaina, you should definitely try this luau.

“Authentic and Awesome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014 via mobile

We took our two kids (11 yo and 9yo) to dinner and the luau here. The check in was smooth, drinks all night (kid friendly too), and great food. Masee (I am sure I spelled it wrong - sorry) was amazing and so personable to everyone at the table! The only down side was parking was a little far (and we arrived early) and the kids were too short to see the blessing of the meal at the sand pit.

“Authentic Luau”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

This is only my third luau but what a difference! The OLL puts on the real deal- not gimmicky at all. From the hosts and hostesses greeting us with a mai tai (or juice), our awesome server Keanu (who was also one of the drummers), to the super talented live Hawaiian band, island crafts, games and hula lessons before dinner, we felt welcomed and embraced with the spirit of aloha. The dinner buffet sounds a little better in the menu than in reality (the reason this is a four star, not five), but the tuna poke, roast pork and fiddlehead fern salad were all delicious (as were the desserts, served tableside after dinner). But the best part was the show. Authentic, highly skilled dancers in true island dances tell the story of Hawaii's history. No fire spinning and no audience guy pulled up to dance the hula in a coconut bra. The delicious tropical drinks flow freely as well as decent beer and wine choices. This warm environment takes the culture of the luau--and its hospitality-- seriously.

“Good food & show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2014

I was hesitant to go to this as it is over $100 per person, but was glad that I did. It is really about the experience, as opposed to the food. The show was fantastic, showing the history of hula throughout the centuries. The food was good, not amazing. They mentioned it was all you can eat, but some of the people at our table went up for a second serving and there were very few things left. The serving staff were great and made sure we always had drinks throughout the night. It was a great experience with a spectacular view.
