I will admit that we almost drove by when we saw the actual location. They have maybe 8 chairs lined up in front of a three foot concrete wall, which ends up being your table for eating (sorta). If you can get past the concrete atmosphere, the food is excellent and very inexpensive. We had the fish (ono) tacos plate, which has two ono tacos, rice and beans. Great deal at $9, the cheapest lunch we have had on Maui. Drinks are all non-alcoholic and served from a cooler. It is a two person operation with one guy working the grill and the girl working the register and keeping the cooler stocked. Everything is made to order, then they have guacamole and three different levels of salsa heat along with onions and limes (although the tacos had lots of prep, you don't really need to add anything more).
Open 11a-9p, so if you want a quick, cheap taco fix for $3 (or $3.50 for the fish taco), this is the place.
I would rate this place 5 stars primarily for the food, but my wife rates it 3 stars due primarily to the atmosphere. I thought it was interesting to eat on a concrete wall (never did that before), my wife did not. So if you come prepared for a street food type experience and good food, you will enjoy it.
