“Great Food, Poor Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

While strolling down Front Street, my boyfriend & I decided to stop at Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch. It was semi-early, so there were no crowds & we were able to get a table with an unobstructed view of the water. The food was better than I expected, however the service was not. Our server was often MIA, & when she wasn't MIA, she was sitting at a table in the corner socializing with coworkers. Overall, we were pleased with the food, but disappointed in the quality of service, especially when the restaurant was practically empty!

“Has stayed the same since '97”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

We first ate at Cheeseburger in 1997 with our kids. We went back for lunch during this trip and found things to be exactly the same as our first trip. A decent burger, great fries, super friendly service, and massive crowds. We lucked out and got a table on the water downstairs. We never felt rushed, but it is a hectic place in general. The food was just OK, and expensive just like everywhere in Lahaina, but we enjoyed being back and would eat there again any time.

“Wouldn't go back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Hubby chose this spot. Had to sit basically with another couple. Food was ok, I had the calamari burger and hubby had the cheese burger. I just didn't like the atmosphere. Felt rushed and not very relaxed totally not the Maui vibe here.

“Nana's visit to Paradise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

We stopped here, because it was right on the beach and very busy. We were seated right away. The burgers were large and delicious and priced the same as we pay in Seattle. We arrived just in time to see the guy across from us trying the burger challenge. If he could eat the $29.00 plate of burgers in twenty minutes it was free. Lots of fun watching him try!!!

“Food with an Ocean Breeze”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

We sat on the upper level near the open windows and enjoyed a pleasant breeze and nice views during our lunch. The seating area was crowded with tables, and wooden dividers on top of the tables were used to separate spaces, especially on longer tables that could seat 8-10 people. The burgers were good, typical of what you would get in any restaurant with specialty burgers. Really liked the onion rings. Service was good.
