Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

“There are a lot better in Lahaina.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

My short review is... Maybe try somewhere else. Maybe it was just the cooks or current management. Six Costco Shrimp on dry rice for $23.95 does not get you to leave raved reviews. There was no shortage of customers.

Great lunch! The burgers were wonderful, as was the Hula pie! Nice atmosphere with a great view, too!

“Delicious Entrees and Dessert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Kimo's is located right on the waterfront in downtown Lahaina, Maui. There is a warm atmosphere and some tables have an ocean view. The menu offers a variety of types of foods, all well prepared. The best of all is their famous dessert---Hula pie. The pie has an oreo cookie crust covered with macadamia nut ice cream. On top of that is drizzled melted chocolate with a final layer of whipped cream. If you aren't too hungry, skip the entree and have the hula pie. The serving is always a large slice. Hula pie was created for Kimo's but has spread to Kauai, Oah'u an even California, at various restaurants.

“Sunset at Kimo's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Sunset at Kimo's is breath taking! Mahi mahi was excellent and service was good. Drinks were very good also. It is expense so be ready to pay for your meal but for one night it is worth it!

“Tourist trap in Lahaina.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Views were amazing. Reocommended to go there by several people. The food was disappointing - the steak and fish were overlooked. The cocktails were great but I would not go back for dinner. A lot of hype and then a let down.
