being bitten by bed bugs! I sustained 9 bites and my wife sustained 8 bites. Westin/Starwood personnel later (after we returned home) informed me that they found no bed bugs in the room, but my doctor confirmed that all the bites were from BED BUGS! This was our 4th stay at the property, and all prior stays were without problems, but this stay was a BIG problem. Also, the room had several deficiencies (which were reported to the concierge): missing cooking pots/pans; no laundry detergent; no dishwasher detergent. It took 2 days to get the detergents and we never received the missing pots/pans. Also, our friends who had the unit next door complained that their carpet was very dirty and sticky (housekeeping then did a thorough cleaning of the carpet). Westin definitely is slipping in its attention to detail.
