“Amazingly Clear Water, Great Snorkeling”

My wife and I were told that the snorkeling was good at Airport Beach, which is what the locals call it. Apparently, the area is the former site of an airport. Now it is bordered by the Westin Resort.
A nice park with clean restrooms, a nice grassy area and a wonderful sandy beach. The best part is the clear water and the coral reef with lots of beautiful fish. A great find!

“Crowded but good snorkeling”

The good snorkeling is a little to the right of the park, and the multitudes to Westin Timeshare owners do not add to the experience, but once in the water and away from the crowds, it's a great world down there. The ocean can be rough here at times, so proceed with caution.

Very long and deep beach. Some shade. Grass area. Easy entry into water with good not great snorkeling.

“Great snorkeling...wow.”

This was a surprise. Nice park with grass & showers on a nice stretch of beach. Endless coral reef with amazing colors and a good fish count. Will come back for more next time in Maui. 2 nd best spot after Honolua bay.

“Great beach for a day”

We were staying at the Maui Kai just north of this beach park but came down here and stayed all day. Great facilities included showers, restrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of parking. The beach was great, and the snorkeling was about as good as it gets. Very easy entry and you could just drift without a lot of effort. Highly recommend this beach park. Be sure and go early, it gets crowded later in the day,
