“You Can't Go Wrong!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

Betty's Beach Café quickly became our "go to" place to eat breakfast and dinner if we just wanted to keep things simple and affordable. Be sure to try the prime rib on Saturday evenings and the lobster special on Wednesdays. If you get there right after sundown, you can watch part of the Feast at Lele Luau show at the dinner theater between Betty's and the beach.

“Go to watch the Luau!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

The food is average but the service was great. The plus was that we were able to watch the Feast at Lele luau right fromt the restaurant without having to pay the high price of the luau.

“The only disappointment so far”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

I would think maybe watching the free luau may be the only high point here. My husband and I stopped for an evening cocktail and dessert and were disappointed with both. The clued out bartender didn't make it any more enjoyable and staff discussing their tips really aggravated me.

“Great views and specials”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Betty's is next to our resort and decided to give it a try our first night in Maui. After 2 1/2 hrs. in line at the car rental center at the airport, we did not care that we missed their happy hour with highly discounted mai-tais, margaritas, and mojitos. The mango margaritas and mojitos were tasty. We opted for the Sat. night special of 12 oz. prime rib dinner, which was tender and delicious...prepared as ordered, and a juicy Maui barbequed chicken breast sandwich. Best thing was being able to watch the Le le luau for free against the backdrop of the sunset on the beach. As the evening progressed, Betty's became more busy but neither the waitress nor manager hurried us. We thought this was an excellent way to spend our first evening in Maui and will return, even though we like to try different restaurants daily.

“Lively, fun, and pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

When Betty's opened a couple years ago it seemed rather stiff and almost uptight. Wow, things have changed since that visit. This place was packed and hopping on a recent Wednesday night. Of course it didn't hurt that Wednesdays is lobster night. A giant lobster dinner for $18.95 was the big draw and it was quite good. Another visit I tried there Kalua pig and it was among the better on Maui. A huge quesadilla hit the spot for a lighter dinner. The drinks were all spot on and the staff was very friendly . Perfect spot if you stay in Lahaina and particularly if you stay next door at the Lahaina Shores Resort. Give it a try...you'll have a great time.
