I have been wanting to go ziplining for a very long time but my husband has been very hesitant to try any where outside the US due to the lack of regulations. I was ecstatic to learn of this opportunity when we decided to go to Maui since finally he had ran out of excuses. This tour exceeded both of our expectations by far. We decided on the 5 line course which was a perfect amount of time. The tour starts at the office where you have an opportunity to lock up your personal belongings( they recommend to leave everything behind unless it has a strap such as your camera) and use the restroom. Like everyone on our tour we brought our own camera. At this point you get to meet your guides that will be with your group for the day. Next step is the harness, helmet and review of safety instructions before embarking on a very bumpy 15 min van ride up the mountain where you climb over a suspension bridge into a another van. I am happy the walking was limited. We were fortunate enough to have Ryder, James and Peter for the day. They did a great job of emphasizing safety while keeping it fun at the same time. They made a point of remembering everyone's name. It's seems like a small point but that shows great customer service to me. The views were absolutely breathtaking and we got many great pictures. The guides also made sure that we got the pictures we wanted as well. There was a family of three going together meaning one person always went with Ryder. He knew that they were always taking pictures of each other coming down. He noticed that the person taking the picture was on the wrong side and made a point of communicating down to Peter to have her switch spots to get her shot. I don't know many individuals who would take the time to do that. You can tell they enjoy what they do and it shows. Some pointers for this tour. Keep in mind there is some limited hiking from line to line while carrying a 15 pound "truck". This area gets a lot of rain. They provide rain jackets if you like but we were fortunate to have a perfect weather day. Check out the tour with the line that is close enough to hold hands or high five your partner. Also don't forget to apply sunscreen. I should know better but i was having so much fun I forgot until it was too late. Lastly there are many guava and red peppercorn bushes that the guides will point out. Definitely try them as it is delicious. Overall, If you are looking for a great company to spend the day with I would definitely recommend checking them out.
