Had a delicious lunch at the quiet Sandalwoods mid-April 2005 following our Haleakala visit. Beautiful flowers & flowering trees on the grounds. Kula is still a few thousand feet above sea level so air was nice and cool. We ate outside on the wide veranda and watched the cycling tours go by. Menu was small but everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious. Average (not huge) servings. Service was good and prices reasonable. Definitely worth a relaxing stop on your way to/from Haleakala, or the winery.
