We stayed in unit 119 from October 14-29th. This is an older condo, built in 1969, each unit is individually owned, so units vary. Our unit was bright, fresh and clean. The first floor had pros & cons. The view was ok, but higher floors will have a better view. We loved being able to walk out the sliding door and be at the beach in seconds! The beach is not very deep in this area, but fine to set up a chair and enjoy the scenery! Sometimes you'll get a bit of seaweed washed up, but it comes and goes with the tide and size of waves. The beach here is very quiet. If you like a more lively beach, it's just a short distance away. There are a lot of great public beaches in Kihei. The location of the building can't be beat! You can walk to shopping and restaurants within 5-15 minutes. This is not a luxury building, I'd give the property a 3*, compared to some of the other properties in Kihei. But we gave up some of the "ritz" to be ocean front and not across the street. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here with our two kids (9 and 7 years old) for 11 nights in August 2011. It was a beautiful view, right on the beach. Many restaurants within walking distance and short driving distance. The beach in front of the condo was not a good swimming place due to lots of seaweed but there are MANY good beaches within a short driving distance. The pool was on the small side, and we were paranoid because of all the signs to not splash, jump, be loud, etc. but we didn't come to Maui to stay in a pool so that didn't bother us too much. Only one air unit in living room of the condo but our kids (who slept in the bedroom in the back of the unit) complained they were "cold" so obviously it worked well. Would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I stayed in 316 for 7 nights and had no complaints. The location was great, close to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. The place is fully furnished with everything that you need! The interior of our unit could use some updates but that is probably my only complaint. We would definitely come back again!

Spent four excellent days in unit 312 here, booked with Expedia. The complex is oceanfront but very low-key in a residential neighborhood just off the main drag. We were pleasantly surprised by the exterior, which looks dated in pictures but is actually kinda funky and really clean and well kept. The interior of our unit was superb, completely updated and high-end title treatments in the bathroom and kitchen. The view was amazing and the beach is great for walking. Our only complaint is the small AC unit did not reach to the bedroom, which is parking lot side, but we were able to sleep on the futon. Also there is not an elevator so it could be difficult climbing three flights of stairs for some people. We later spent a few days in a mega-resort on West Maui and regretted leaving this little hidden gem. Definitely recommend if you are into laid-back, quiet lodging instead of luxury resorts packed with 1,000 of your closest friends.
