“Best Boat Trip! Best Snorkel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

We had the most amazing time on this trip with Captain Nick and first mate Jeremy! They were wonderful, fun and super knowledgeable. The trip down to the southern tip was amazing as was the snorkeling. We had a great day! I live in Kihei and this trip has most likely ruined all other snorkeling for me :)

“Excellent Adventure with Captain Aaron”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We were on 2 adventures with Captain Aaron. One trip was the 2 hour snorkeling adventure and the other was the 5.5 hour snorkeling adventure. Aaron showed us so many cool places to snorkel and see the best fish and turtles. We learned so much about the islands from Aaron.

We had fun, loved the music (especially Van Halen and Aerosmith) and loved Aaron's humor. This was one of the best trips we ever had and will be back again - only to ride with Aaron.

Thanks for all the fun, adventure, snorkeling, sites and awesome music Aaron!

“Amazing Adventure on the Pineapple Express”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

If you're lucky enough to get on the Pineapple Express with Joe and Jeremy, consider yourself lucky enough! We went out on Friday, April 19th. The day started with a warm welcoming from Jeremy. As we boarded the boat Joe greeted us with a helping hand and well timed jokes, which set the tone for what was to come. As we pull away from the boat ramp, we immediately encounter our first sea turtle.

As we approached rougher waters, Joe and Jeremy were very accommodating. They made sure everyone was comfortable, made suggestions throughout for a better ride and anticipated our every need.

Joe shared incredibly Maui history as we explored parts of the island none of the other charters dared to visit. He made sure to abide by all coastguard regulations by not entering caves while simultaneously getting us close enough to truly experience the volcanic formations Hawaii is known for.

We eventually anchored in a sheltered cove to snorkel with wonderful sea life...the perfect spot for breakfast. Shortly thereafter we were off to our next destination until Joe heard on the radio there were spinner dolphins close by. On our way there, expecting to see dolphins, we instead saw a mother humpback whale and her baby calf. It was noting short of amazing!

Next, we ventured to Molokini for another snorkel adventure where we received rich history of the formation of Molokini in addition to the surrounding island. Yet another wonderful location for a lunch. Throughout this experience Jeremy catered to our every need by offering assistance with our gear, offering beverages, helping in/out of water and having defogger for our masks constantly available.

As the day progressed, our next destination was to "Turtle Town" however another amazing chain of events occurred when Joe located a pod of spinner dolphins. After watching these beautiful animals jump out of the water and somewhat interact with boats close by, we decided to get back on course and venture to Turtle Town.

Upon arriving to Turtle Town, Joe informed us the best spots to locate the turtles under water. Following his advice, as he hadn't steered us wrong this far, we were on a turtles trail within moments of getting into the water. What a site to see - these majestic creatures gliding through the water unaffected by our presence.

If all this wasn't enough, Joe spots in the distance, another mother whale with her baby calf. As he slowed down, he directed everyone's attention to the location of where he last spotted the whales. Responding to his excitement, while looking in that same direction, we spotted a calf breaching out of the water. Everyone was awe struck! We couldn't believe our own eyes.

After seeing such a "made for National Geographic" event we reluctantly made our way back to shore where Joe and Jeremy again catered to our every need and helped us off the boat. We couldn't help but show our gratitude of such an amazing experience by tipping them both. The most disappointing thing that took place was the fact that no one else on our boat tipped such an amazing crew.

We highly suggest the Blue Water Rafting Adventure and hope the next time we are in Maui and board the Pineapple Express we have Joe and Jeremy a part of the experience.

Mahalo!

“Great snorkeling...swimming with the turtles was the highlight of my Hawaii Trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We booked the 5 1/2 hour tour and had never really been snorkeling before so we didnt know what to expect. We lucked out with a calm day and had a great time! The boat tour we went on was only 14 people plus the 2 boat guides. We wanted a REAL snorkel trip with knowledgeable guides so we could see fish....we did NOT want a party boat with booze flowing and a bunch of loud yahoos. We got EXACTLY what we wanted! The 2 guides were experts about the area and knew just where to go. We saw whales (an unexpected bonus for this time of year) and snorkeled in 4 different places. We got to swim by an awesome reef and see lots of different fish. The highlight of the whole trip was the turtles! We swam in 2 different places that were full of turtles. There is nothing better then swimming along next to a giant sea turtle. It was beyond amazing! I would definitely recommend booking a tour with these guys and I would go again because it was just great! It was well worth the price we paid.

“Oh my - what an experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

I have been on a few different Molokini snorkel trips, and this was by far my favorite. To start with, the boats are really fast and you get to where you are going with a lot more time available to snorkel. Add to that the trip all the way to the lava tubes which I have never been able to see before (and they were magnificent). We were taken to the back side of Molokini (another thing I had never done) and because the boats are small and very maneuverable, you get a lot more freedom of movement in the water. Our captain even offered to drive the boat over and pick us up if we happened to swim too far from the boat. If you like being on a big boat with a couple hundred people, a bar, and a BBQ lunch, then this isn't the company for you. But if you don't mind a picnic lunch, a small group of friendly people, and some of the best sites Maui has to offer with a friendly knowledgeable captain...give these guys a try!!
