Our family of seven adults stayed for one glorious week in the Dolphin House. We had more than enough room to spread out when we wanted private time.We found the HUGE kitchen, dining and family area inviting and comfortable. We spent many hours on the lanai sipping tropical drinks and enjoying the breezes. The entire house was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN when we arrived,too!
I really appreciated having laundry facilities right off the kitchen since we went to the beach every day and came home with wet, sandy clothes. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the beach was two blocks away. What more could anyone possible ask for? We cannot wait to go back to the Dolphin House!

We just spent 10 days in Maui staying at the Dolphin House in Kehei. Great place to stay for two couples. We loved the spacious open concept; great kitchen and living space and a huge lanai to relax in and watched some awesome sunsets. Just a 5 min walk to the beach and South Kehei Rd. There is a parking for car rental too. This rental home really made our first trip to Maui special. There is a widow's walk and outdoor porch on the top level also for some great ocean viewing. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, pots and pans, and plenty of towels and pillows to accommodate the four of us. We look forward to renting the Dolphin House on our next trip to Maui!

I read the previous reviews and can't understand what they were talking about. This place exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, CLEAN and had all the towels and sheets one would need. Everything worked great. Like any tropical area, you have to keep your counters clean of any food remnants. But you do that at home too - right! There were 7 adults that stayed there and I would say it would be better for 6 adults with maybe 2 smaller children. The upstairs loft is not that private but is still great for sleeping and it is small. However a nice little patio to sit on in the sunshine up in the loft area! But it would be a fun hideaway for kids who were looking for their own space to play. It was also wonderful to have the unlimited free calling back to Canada and the U.S. mainland and free internet. The location is great as well - very close to walk to the beach but yet far enough away that it was nice and quite. We would for sure stay here again and have already been telling our friends!

We've stayed here twice and are planning to rent again this coming winter. Really loved the spaciousness, layout and large outdoor dining area. It was perfect for our family and was equipped with everything we needed. The porch upstairs was wonderful for ocean and sunset viewing. Did notice the prior review which clearly must be malicious in nature. Our experience was absolutely enjoyable as were the very accomodating owners. The transaction was easy and they even provided a long list of places to see and great restaurants. Since I had to do some work while on vacation, the little office and wireless internet worked out just fine.
