“Always Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

We have been going to Stella Blues for years, primarily for breakfast which is an unbeatable
value. We have beome friendly with the staff over the years -- staff turnover is very low. Eggs are always perfectly cooked. Macadamia pancakes are a favorite. The restaurant is clean and well managed. Lunch and Dinners are consistently good at reasonable prices. Stella Blues will continue to be our "go to" place for breakfasts.

Our server was lovely, entrees were good, cocktails were very good. Reasonably priced! We will return again!

“Dinner with Jerry Garcia & The Dead Decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Stella Blues Café was recommended by a friend and was our first dining experience after 12 hours of flying to Maui. Travel weary and hungry, this restaurant was a great choice. The seating was comfortable and the ambiance easy-going. We had the opportunity to enjoy the vintage Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead memorabilia throughout the restaurant. We were a little early for the dinner crowd, and yet there was live entertainment in the bar area. The Marlin Dip was delicious, and served with warm pita wedges - a great appetizer which was enough for a meal. My husband had the yellow curry chicken that had a hint of island influence. I am a real lover of the iced tea and theirs was average.

“nice place average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

So the place itself is nice location is ok and service was great. The food was just ok. nothing special nothing amazing. We did go for lunch and had a turkey sandwich and a pesto turkey sandwich. The turkey sandwich was way better than the turkey pesto. the fries were ok hot and not to oily. This is a great place but I would like to go back and have breakfast since I see better reviews on their pancakes.

“Quite expensive and the food was nothing special”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

The place is nice, the waiters very kind but the food was tasteless. We had an Hawaiian Pizza (so and so) and a grilled mix but the meet was hard and tasteless.
