“Yes, we saw whales!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Curtis was an amazing guide. My brother and I took the Kayak/Snorkel tour in Maui with Curtis last week and the entire trip was fantastic. Curtis was a great guy to hang out with, knowledgeable and fun. He was the first to spot the whales and we had 3 separate whale spottings. After kayaking out on the ocean and seeing the whales, we then went to snorkel and see the turtles. Curtis went above and beyond as my motion sickness was getting the best of me. So we paddled in, dropped me off on shore and he and my brother went out and continued with the trip. Curtis was very concerned about safety for not only us but the reef and the ocean life. He takes it upon himself to learn more and had several books on hand to peruse.

If you are on Maui, this is a must do tour!

“Experience of a lifetime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

The tour with HPS exceeded expectations in every way! Tim our guide was extremely professional, knowledgeable, excited about teaching us, and eager to make sure we maximized our time on the water. We would highly recommend this family friendly tour. Our boys 7 and 9 were included in the boat launching, paddling and experience. We snorkled close with the turtles and the BIG BONUS sat right above a SINGING WHALE! The whale breached about 50 yards out and gave us a show! We saw so many whales even is early in the season, tail slaps, friendly completion racing, etc. probably 6 whales doing different things. Love this. It made our trip. THANKS TIM AND HPS!

“Had a blast with Matt at a Stand Up Paddle lesson/tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

It's a perfect start to a morning to park your car at Makena Landing and enjoy the water when it's still calm. Makena Landing is great for learning how to Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) because it's right by parking and a gorgeous part of the cost.

Only the two of us and Matt, our instructor, made for a personalized trip so we could get paddling quick and make the most of it while the water was still calm before the wind picks up after 10. We saw sea turtles up close and could enjoy the marine life all around us. SUP is easy to learn when you've got a good guide.

Highly recommended.

“Great again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

Almost two years later and we wanted the same great experience with HPS. They were as great as before. Tim is a very informative guide. We learned new information about the islands and met new people in the 6 person canoe.

Once again we saw a mom and calf. They swam over to us and were only about 20 yards from the boat. We had time to stop at the turtle "feeding station" on the way back to shore and saw so many turtles. It was great to be able to swim with the turtles and one even came right up to me.

HPS should be your first choice to see whales on Maui.

“Molokini Challenge: Best snorkel tour on Maui!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Launching kayaks before sunrise, paddling through the surf, watching whales, seeing the sun rise over Haleakala, snorkeling in the Molokini crater, having dolphins leap out of the water just in front of us, listening to whale song and dolphin chatter, and paddling back to Makena... It was an adventure! Josh and Chad were great guides, friendly and informative! I highly recommend this trip to folks who love to paddle, get a bit intense (if it's windy) and have a grand, nonmotorized, adventure!
