“Consistently Enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

We have been eating at 808 for several years. Although the menu seems to have not changed much, the food is consistently good. Service is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable servers. The ambiance outside, particularly along the rail is most pleasant. The BYOB aspect is a plus. The flat iron steak is cooked as ordered. The short ribs are also consistently good. The pork tenderloin and special beans with creamed spinach is a very delicious combination. We will keep coming back to 808.

“Yummy breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

So delicious! Had the banana bread French toast...simply perfect! The staff is great and really friendly and the food is reasonably priced! Not too busy because it's tucked away behind Fred's and moose...definitely a good place for breakfast!

“Decent food, nice servers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

The entrees were mostly good, and the service was very good. Location is casual. The restaurant is BYOB, with a $5 corkage on what you bring in- a nice $$$ saver for those who might be interested in knowing this! The crab appetizer was a bit fishy tasting.

“Spartan & BYOB”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

Remember to bring your own bottle. $5 corkage fee per table which is cheap. Menu was a little simple and needed updating. Outdoor dining. Our table for 2 was on railing but felt like we were leaning toward railing. Floor was sloping toward railing. Food was very good. However choice was limited. Atmosphere was held back by location, server, and the lighting and building. The folks working there looked liked like a family - not professional. Dressed like they were entertaining friends at a very casual dinner.

“Our favorite restaurant on Maui!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

We absolutely love this restaurant and come here every time we visit. Our meals are consistently delicious. It is sort of hidden away in the back & down some stairs with a view of the ocean across street. Also good value with a $5 corkage fee for bringing your own wine. They don't have a liquor license.
