When I read the reviews and learned how hard it is to find, I called ahead and asked for directions. It is located in back corner of a small mall behind Fred's Mexican food across from Kamaole Beach Park II off S. Kihei Rd. It is well hidden and hard to find if you don't have directions. My wife and I ate dinner here our last night in Maui. We were looking for a quite place with great food. The entire restaurant had open air seating, which was very nice, since there was a nice cool breeze that evening. They sat us near the railing with a partial view of the ocean. We sat there quietly listening to the palm trees rustle in the breeze. It was a sad moment for us since we knew we would leaving the next day. So, it was especially nice and memorable.
My wife ordered the 808 Pork chop, which I might add was excellent. The cranberry glazed onions and Mac nut Portuguese sausage stuffing were spectacular! I ordered the Gorgonzola Alfredo pasta with fresh Mahi Mahi. It was also delicious. For dessert we had a whiskey bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, also very delicious.
The prices were reasonable compared to many of the restaurants we had been to in Maui. The pork chop was $19, the Alfredo pasta w/Mahi $23 and dessert $8.
