“If you can find this place, it's well worth it! But call ahead and get directions!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

When I read the reviews and learned how hard it is to find, I called ahead and asked for directions. It is located in back corner of a small mall behind Fred's Mexican food across from Kamaole Beach Park II off S. Kihei Rd. It is well hidden and hard to find if you don't have directions. My wife and I ate dinner here our last night in Maui. We were looking for a quite place with great food. The entire restaurant had open air seating, which was very nice, since there was a nice cool breeze that evening. They sat us near the railing with a partial view of the ocean. We sat there quietly listening to the palm trees rustle in the breeze. It was a sad moment for us since we knew we would leaving the next day. So, it was especially nice and memorable.

My wife ordered the 808 Pork chop, which I might add was excellent. The cranberry glazed onions and Mac nut Portuguese sausage stuffing were spectacular! I ordered the Gorgonzola Alfredo pasta with fresh Mahi Mahi. It was also delicious. For dessert we had a whiskey bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, also very delicious.

The prices were reasonable compared to many of the restaurants we had been to in Maui. The pork chop was $19, the Alfredo pasta w/Mahi $23 and dessert $8.

“Wonderful hole-in-the-wall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

This bistro is tucked away from a lot of the madness along S. Kihei Road and is so quiet and relaxing as a result. We went there for breakfast our last day in Maui and were kicking ourselves for not having checked it out earlier. The food was delicious (the banana bread french toast is...something else), the servers were laid back and friendly, the prices were great, and there was a really nice breeze.

“Really enjoyed the salads”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

The Uncle Chad salad was excellent. We did take-out, but the place looked like a really nice place to dine-in. The servers were polite.

We stopped by for a family lunch. Everyone left full, happy and pleasantly surprised by the modest price tag.

“Just Okay..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

We went here to have a more low key dinner on our honeymoon and get away from the pricey Wailea spots. First off, this place is byob which we thought was great so we came and enjoyed a bottle of champagne we had. The ambience here is cute and romantic, there's not really any great ocean views but its got romantic lighting and an Italian bistro feel to it. As far as food goes I ordered the maui cordon blue, it was just okay.. Did not wow me at all. The husband got the braised short ribs which I thought were tasty but not completely out of this world. I thought the service was pretty good. I hear this place is good for breakfast so we may visit in the future for that, and possibly give dinner another shot.
