What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast

What a wonderful bed and breakfast! The breakfasts were wonderful. The room excellent and the bed was so comfortable. Eva and Jim are wonderful people! It was out of the way of all the hussle and bussle downtown, yet close enough to walk to shopping. The view from the lanai at breakfast was beautiful. Stay there if you can!

I can't say enough about Maui, What a Wonderful World B&B. As far as value for money, friendliness, and service, I have never stayed anywhere quite like this B&B. The owner, Eva, manages just a few beautifully-presented rooms and virtually lets you have the run of her house, including allowing you to use their computer to check your email, and letting you freely borrow DVDs, books, boogie boards, towels, and whatever else you might want during your stay. And I could write a whole review about the breakfasts alone (all gourmet, all sinfully delicious)! I wonder that she even turns a profit, with how much she offers her guests. I enjoyed my stay in Maui, and I can safely say that if I ever return, I plan on staying in this B&B for my entire trip.

“Best bed and breakfast on Maui”

We had a wonderful time at it's a wonderful life! The rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was top notch. The hosts were gracious with a deep understanding of local resturaunts, nightlife and natural attractions. The other guests all had a great time and we were like one big happy family sitting out on the porch every morning planning our day and enjoying our breakfast. If you go to Maui, IAWL is the place to stay. My husband and I will be back next christmas!
Aloha!

Stayed here on part of our honeymoon.

The photos on the website must be doctored - they looked MUCH nicer than the actual room.

The host was out of town at the time and left the care of the B&B and guests to her surfer dude son that could have cared less. He was having a dinner party with his friends when we arrived, and everyone looked at us like we'd interrupted as he handed us the keys.

We were also informed that no breakfast would be served and no discount was given. Only after asking several times were we told that we could go across the street to another Bed and Breakfast to eat. We were just sent over there - and once again, we felt like we were intruding.

Be aware that this b&b is in the middle of a neighborhood that looked reminiscent of a Florida suburb. It is not secluded in anyway. And also, there is really nothing of interest in Kehei. Had we known this, we wouldn't have stayed there.

The son must have had some illness, because we heard hom coughing, hacking, and sneezing in his apartment all night. We could also hear his phone conversations.

But the worst of it was the mosquito problem. Somehow, we had a swarm of mosquitos everynight. We never left our doors or windows open, but they somehow got in and we were rudley awoken to these creatures buzzing in our ears. We had to literelly get out of bed and COAT our bodies with bug spray. Not very romantic on your honeymoon.

We didn't enjoy our stay here at all.

“Warning! Warning!”

What a Wonderful World Bed and Breakfast

My honey and I loved the hosts, the other guests, the view from the deck and the value of having our own little appartment with kitchen.
However. We loved the gourmet breakfasts too, untill I failed to heed the hosts warning. I was stuffing myself on a wonderful little fruit/soufle concoction when I asked what in it. She said "you don't want to know" This happened 2 more times then she told me. Big mistake. No wonder I didn't get hungry untill 2 PM after eating these things! They must have a 1,000 calores at least!
Go there, enjoy yourself, but don't ask about the ingredients of her great breakfasts.
