We stayed a week, management super-helpful even tho we arrived earlier than stated. The place was clean, unbelievable amount of kitchen and beach supplies, also a nice mini-library on the complex. Gorgeous views! Perfect frame of the sunset from the lanai. Super-helpful books, menus, reviews left by owners and previous visitors. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed for 13 nights in September 2008 - Leinaala was simply lovely; clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. The location is convenient to everything, the entire building has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the sunsets, and the condo itself had everything we needed. We spent lots of time on our lanai, which was very private and comfortable. The AC was a bit weak and rather loud (no central- a unit is mounted in the window in the west-facing living room), but there were good fans in every room to help out. The bed was comfortable, the small swimming pool very enjoyable, the common areas and laundry facilities are super-clean, and the resident managers are very nice. Located in an area that is known for wind and (comparatively) poorer beaches, Leinaala is a little gem of a condo that makes staying in North Kihei a wonderful Maui experience.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was perfect. It was nice to have a beautiful view at all times of the day. We stayed in room #303, which I think was pretty basic. It had a kitchen, bedroom, and livingroom. It was all we needed. It was comfortable, clean and we felt safe. It was a short walk to the ocean behind us and within short driving distance to many necessities and entertainment places. The manager, Sandy, is also very nice. Though our contact with her was very limited, it was always pleasureable.

My wife and I had a great time at Leinaala. The room was just as described by the owner and we could not have asked for better service from them. We contacted them during our stay and they helped us with any questions we had.

Not only was Leinaala conveniently located and very clean, it had dynamite sunsets. We took so many pics of the sunsets there. Every day we snorkelled at a different beach either in south or west Maui.

Make the drive to Hana if you like beautiful scenery, but don't expect to arrive at some wonderful location. The drive IS the experience. We stopped at a great little stand near Hana that sold macadamia nut brownies and banana bread-we loved both.

Overall, we will definitely return to Maui and Leinaala. Thanks for making our honeymoon special.
