“Perfect place to stop at to/from the airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

On my recent trip we ate here 3 times and would have gone more had time allowed. We stayed in Lahaina but hit this place upon leaving the airport before heading to Lahaina. We did the same on our return trip to the airport. Surprisingly they have good burgers but their sushi is excellent. Try the 006 1/2 roll or any of the daily specials. Their drinks are good too.

FYI, when I was in Maui in March 2011 we ate here twice as well. It's a staple for us!

“"Hidden" treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

This place was nothing special on the outside, but the food was absolutely amazing! We were very shocked! We stopped in on our way to the airport, but were extremely happy we did. The place serves fresh made sushi, but we stuck to our favorites of the CLubhouse sandwich, and the Mahi Mahi sandwich, both of which were fantastic. Great place to stop.

“Great service and good food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the airport. What a fantastic find. The service was great and the fish taco's yummy. Loved the french fries. I would recommend this as a stop for some great local flavor.

“First and last stops are always here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012 via mobile

,This may be my favorite restaurant in the world, and it is always my first and last stop when travelling to Maui. This quiet and unassuming place, blocks from the airport in an otherwise inauspicious strip mall, has some of the best and most creative sushi in town. I love the 006 1/2 roll and the Opaka Paka, but friends I have brought here have raved about their choices, and the burgers and fries especially.

The atmosphere is Hawaiian sports bar. Wireless has been here before it was even popular. Restrooms are a drawback- you have to use the public facilities in the strip mall. My advice? Wash your hands at the airport and head on over as fast as you can.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

Had to have kava just to say we had it. It really does taste like dirt, but i liked the presentation in a coconut shell. Food was very average except the sushi, which was pretty tasty. Atmosphere is okay, not great.
